This week has seen so much progress! Monday started with the slab pour. It was interesting to watch how the workers smoothed out the poured concrete as well as to see the different texture / seams on the outdoor patio.
It was sealed before Tuesday’s rain, which was stressful to see in person, but the slab was unharmed.
Wednesday was the start of framing, and after the first day we were getting walls!
On Thursday the project was looking like an entirely different beast entirely!
By the end of the week even some of the first floor joists were being put up! Seeing the first floor space in a real, physical way was incredibly interesting and satisfying.
The next week will again be a ton of change and we are so excited to see it evolve!
