Let’s start 2025 off right! The project is looking great and the building is wrapped and has windows. It definitely feels more and more like a home each day.
With the roof on and daylight at a minimum, my photos are not as good as they have been, so please bear with me!
One challenge that has come up is the big windows in the living room. While the install is rated to withstand storms we have in this area, there is concern they would not survive the most extreme storm we could possibly face. To address this, extra steel reinforcement will be added to ensure these windows can meet any force and live to tell the tale!
Plumbing and heating is in the middle of being installed, and with the walls open it is amazing to see the beautiful complexity involved.
As you can see, it is really shaping up! We can’t wait for late summer to get here so we can move in.
